Our services
We provide assessment and therapy for children and young people aged 0 to 18 years, at our Maroubra and Woonona clinics, at home, in preschools, day cares and schools, and via telehealth. We support:
- Early communication development and speech sound disorders
- Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) and social communication differences
- Neurodivergent children and young people
- Feeding, eating, drinking and swallowing (FEDS)
- School-based language and literacy, and teen communication and regulation
We see private clients, NDIS self-managed and plan-managed participants (as an unregistered NDIS provider), and Medicare (GP referral) clients.
Your privacy
- Clinical records are kept securely in Halaxy, our clinical records system, which stores data in Australia.
- We only share information with your consent, when the law requires it, or to keep a child safe.
- Records are kept for 7 years after the last service or until your child turns 25, whichever is later.
- You can request a copy of your child's records in writing; we respond within 30 days.
- We do not use AI or any automated system to make decisions about you or your child.
AI, photos and video
- We use approved AI tools ethically and responsibly to help our clinicians with reports, notes and admin. Your clinician checks and approves everything.
- Identifying information is not entered into general AI tools. Halaxy's AI scribe keeps information within your child's secure record, and no audio is kept.
- Photos and videos are only taken with your consent, on practice devices, to share with you and your child's care team.
- We only post a photo or video of your child on social media with your written and verbal consent to that specific photo or video.
Payments and cancellations
- Private and self-managed clients pay on the day. Plan-managed clients are invoiced through their plan manager.
- Please give at least 48 hours' notice to cancel, by emailing cancellations@seasaltspeechpathology.com.
- Short-notice cancellations: 50% of the session fee for 24 to 48 hours' notice, 100% for less than 24 hours or a no-show.
Full details are in your Master Terms & Conditions of Business.

Child safety
We follow the NSW Child Safe Standards. Every team member holds a current NSW Working With Children Check, and we meet our mandatory reporting obligations. Children's wellbeing, safety and dignity always come first.
