Parent questions
Does my child have to sit still?
Not at all! Sessions are full of movement, games and play, and we work with your child's energy, not against it.
Does telehealth really work?
Research shows telehealth can be as effective as in-person therapy for many children and goals, especially when parents are involved. If we ever feel your child would do better in clinic, we'll talk it through with you.
My child is shy. Will they engage?
Many shy or nervous children actually find it easier to open up at home, with their own toys and a familiar grown-up nearby.
What if my child has a short attention span?
We keep activities short, playful and full of movement, and change things up often to keep it fun.
Do I need to be there?
For younger children, yes please. You're the expert on your child, and being there means you can keep the strategies going between sessions.
What if it isn't the right fit?
Your first session is a no-risk try. If telehealth isn't the right fit for your child, there's no charge and we'll help you find the best option.
Safe, secure and privateSessions run over secure video with our NSW-based clinicians. We don't record video or audio of telehealth sessions. If your clinician would like to use our AI note-taking tool during a session, they'll ask for your verbal consent first, and no audio is kept. See our AI & Media Policy for more.
