Parent questions

How big are the groups?

Groups are kept small, so every child gets plenty of attention from our speech pathologists. Contact us for group sizes.

Do I stay during the group?

For our feeding groups and younger children, yes please. You'll learn the strategies too, so you can keep them going at home.

Can my child join if they already see a speech pathologist?

Absolutely. Groups can be a great addition to 1:1 therapy, and we're happy to talk with your child's current therapist.

How is it funded?

Groups can be paid privately or funded through NDIS for self-managed and plan-managed participants. Ask us about fees and what's included.

What if my child isn't eating safely?

If your child often coughs, chokes or gags when eating or drinking, or isn't gaining weight, please see your GP first. We may recommend an individual feeding assessment before joining a group.

Spots are limited!

Register your interest and we'll be in touch with dates, times and fees for the next group. We'd love to have you!
